On Wednesday, July 31, the UAW International Executive Board voted to endorse Kamala Harris for President of the United States.

This week, 12 more of our temporary brothers and sisters were converted to permanent seniority employees at GM Spring Hill MFG! Local 1853 President John Rutherford, UAW/GM Unit Shop Chairman Jason Spain along with GM Leadership spoke and presented certificates to help celebrate this occasion.

Next week (August 1st) marks the last week for a lot of our Brothers and Sisters at General Motors as the first wave of the Special Attrition Program comes to a close.

Organizing efforts are now underway at the Ultium Spring Hill Plant, and IUAW VP Mike Booth stopped by the GM plant to walk the floor.
